How to use SoapBox for idea management
Once you sign up for SoapBox, you’ll enjoy a free 14-day trial of our Pro features (no credit card required!), so you can see what Discussions is all about! Here’s how to use Discussions:
Create a Discussion
From your SoapBox, click the blue “Create” button at the bottom right, and select Discussions. We recommend the Basic Discussion Kit for idea management.
Add your details
Give your Discussion a name, a description, start and end dates, a colour and an icon. Get more tips on writing your details here!
Select team members to invite
You can invite the whole company, a single team or a few employees – it’s up to you! You can always add people later, too.
Preview the invite
Double check all the Discussion details – this is what will be sent out to your team, so make sure your description is as clear as possible.
Click save – your Discussion will launch at the time you specified in your start date. You can also hit “Launch Now” to start it right away!
See the ideas roll in
Everyone invited to the discussion can add and vote on ideas. Encourage everyone to comment on other’s ideas and keep the conversation flowing!
